Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Surgical ICU position requiring 2 years of current Surgical ICU experience and a compact or MD RN license.

Details

• Work in the 20-bed adult Weinberg Surgical ICU within the Department of Surgery
• Diverse post-surgical ICU patient population including Trauma, GI Surgery, Ortho/Neuro Spine, Transplant, Vascular, Surgical ENT, and General Surgery cases
• Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Float as needed to areas of like skill set

Requirements

• Active RN license (Compact or Maryland)
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of current, strong Surgical ICU experience required
• Critical Care Certification, trauma course completion, ACLS, and EPIC experience preferred
• Experience in a facility with 500+ bed count preferred
• Two previous travel assignments preferred

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to ICU and post-surgical ICU patients across a variety of surgical specialties
• Orientation held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month
• Strong candidates are preferred given the high acuity and complexity of this academic medical center setting
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
