Ace Wire Spring & Form Co. is seeking a Plant Manager to lead daily operations in our custom spring and wire form manufacturing facility. This person will manage other department supervisors across coiling, grinding, benchwork, the EN department, and other production areas while helping lead a workforce of approximately 35 people.

Hands-on experience with manufacturing equipment is essential for this role. Our Plant Manager must be able to understand the work, help solve problems on the shop floor, and support the supervisors and employees they lead. Every job we make is custom. The right candidate will understand manufacturing equipment, solve problems on the shop floor, and bring creative ideas for improving processes and production flow. You will work alongside our current factory manager for at least 3 months to support the transition.

Responsibilities

• Lead department supervisors and coordinate the daily work of approximately 40 employees.
• Plan production, address bottlenecks, and keep jobs moving toward quality, delivery, and output goals.
• Troubleshoot machine and process issues with supervisors and operators.
• Develop better methods for scheduling, workflow, and production.
• Coach employees, handle different personalities effectively, and build accountability across departments.
• Maintain safe, organized facility operations

Qualifications

• Experience managing manufacturing supervisors and a production workforce.
• Hands-on machine skills and the ability to diagnose and solve equipment and production problems.
• Working knowledge of lathes, presses, CNC equipment, and programming.
• Experience making decisions in a custom manufacturing or job shop environment.
• A history of dependable, sustained employment and clear examples of results in previous roles.

Experience with springs, wire forms, or metal forming is a plus.
