Farm Lead

Job Description Summary:
We are looking for a farm supervisor who needs to have strong leadership and communication skills. Experience is the primary factor in landing a job as a poultry farm but college courses or a degree in a relevant field, such as agribusiness or animal science, is recommended.

Job Description:

• Ensures the safety and efficiency of poultry farm operations
• Prioritizes tasks and decides on the necessary amount of machinery and number of workers
• Records data and creates reports on worker attendance, budget, supplies and animal growth
• Assigns duties to farm workers and ensures that they are carried out in an efficient manner
• Oversees the machinery that performs certain tasks, such as egg collection
• Trains new workers, provides care to injured or ill livestock, and enforces workplace sanitation practices to prevent the spread of disease

Job Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a farm setting is required
• Bachelor's degree with some study in business
• Good communication skills
• Great interpersonal skills
• Sound work ethic and able to supervise team
• Ability to work in any environment
• Ability to solve problems if any
