Audit Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Audit Project Manager with a strong background in internal audit, operational healthcare audits, and project management. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience leading audits from planning through execution while managing stakeholder relationships and ensuring high-quality audit deliverables. This role requires a professional who can independently oversee audit scope, objectives, execution, workpaper reviews, and day-to-day audit activities. The candidate should have prior experience conducting operational healthcare audits in areas such as pharmacy, clinical operations, nursing, and related healthcare functions. The Audit Project Manager will be responsible for driving audit testing when needed, leading stakeholder audit discussions, performing data analysis, and drafting/finalizing audit reports and findings. Strong supervisory-level audit leadership experience is required, although this position does not include direct people management.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required
• 7+ years of audit experience
• Strong project management experience
• Experience leading internal audits from planning through execution
• Proven experience overseeing audit scope, objectives, and execution
• Strong experience with workpaper reviews (Must Have)
• Experience managing day-to-day audit activities
• Experience performing audit testing when needed
• Strong stakeholder interaction and audit discussion leadership (Must Have)
• Experience drafting and finalizing audit reports and findings
• Strong data analysis experience
• Operational healthcare audit experience (Pharmacy, Clinical Operations, Nursing, etc.)
• Must have supervisory/management-level audit leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) or CPA preferred
• Advanced Excel skills
• Power BI experience
• General data analytics expertise
• Experience with EPIC and ePIMS (pharmacy systems)
