Responsibilities Lead group exercise classes, individual exercise classes for residents at Independent Living Facilities. Provide modifications for different fitness levels and abilities Maintain a clean and organized workout space before and after classes Build rapport with participants to encourage regular attendance Stay current with fitness trends and certifications Qualifications Current certification in group exercise instruction or as a personal trainer through an accredited organization preferred. Previous experience working with older adults preferred. Previous experience as a group or individual fitness class instructor preferred. Must have knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid guidelines Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Must have a current CPR certification. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer skill proficiency. Ability to use Microsoft Windows.
