As a Project Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering complex underground utility and site work infrastructure projects from pre‑construction through to successful completion. You'll lead projects that make a lasting impact on communities while working alongside highly experienced professionals in a collaborative, safety‑first environment. What You'll Be Doing Lead site work and utility construction projects from planning and pre‑construction through to closeout. Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, and overall project performance. Oversee the installation of underground utilities including water mains, sanitary sewer, storm drainage, and pipeline systems. Identify project risks early and develop proactive solutions to keep projects on track. Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Lead and support project teams including superintendents, field staff, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants. Work closely with engineering, design, and preconstruction teams to resolve challenges before they impact delivery. Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders through clear communication and exceptional project execution. Foster a collaborative, team‑first culture that drives successful project outcomes. Safety & Quality Champion a proactive safety culture across every project. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards. Maintain exceptional quality standards and ensure work is completed in accordance with project specifications. What We're Looking For 5+ years of Project Management or Assistant Project Manager experience within heavy civil or utility construction. Strong understanding of underground utility installation and site development. Proven experience managing project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and field operations. Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills. Preferred Experience delivering Design‑Build or Turnkey projects. Knowledge of trenchless technology, excavation, grading, and earthworks. Proficiency with construction management software. Split between office‑based project management and active construction sites. Regular travel to project locations. Hands‑on involvement in dynamic heavy civil construction environments.
