RN Acute Care - Neuro - PRN Night Shift

Role Overview: The RN Acute Care - Neuro provides high-quality, safe, patient-centered care within an interdisciplinary team, adhering to evidence-based practices and professional standards. They collaborate with patients, families, and staff to deliver individualized care, utilizing the nursing process and cultural awareness to optimize outcomes. Key Responsibilities Perform assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care based on current clinical standards. Partner with patients and families through effective communication and education, focusing on patient goals. Coordinate safe, quality care via interdisciplinary communication, documentation, and fostering a respectful environment. Support performance improvement initiatives, research, and evidence-based practice to enhance patient outcomes. Participate in professional development, serve as a preceptor or mentor, and uphold organizational policies and safety standards. Contribute to protocol development, resource management, and data collection for continuous improvement. Qualifications & Skills Associates or Bachelor’s Nursing degree preferred. Current RN license (single or multi-state), BLS certification required. Experience in direct patient care preferred. Strong communication, critical thinking, time management, and teamwork skills.
