Assembler PositionJoin our team as an Assembler where you will contribute to the production of essential equipment for aviation and military applications. You will have the opportunity to work in one of three departments: Loader, Deicer, or Traitor, with the potential for cross-training across all areas. This role involves assembling plane de-icers, aircraft tow vehicles, cargo loading systems, airport gate equipment, and military equipment. You will troubleshoot, repair, and assemble mechanical and electrical equipment using hand and power tools provided by our team. Your expertise in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics will be essential in ensuring the quality and precision of assembled products.ResponsibilitiesAssemble plane de-icers, aircraft tow vehicles, cargo loading systems, airport gate equipment, and military equipment.Troubleshoot, repair, and assemble mechanical and electrical equipment.Utilize hand and power tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, drills, files, grinders to make mechanical connections using nuts, bolts, washers, and screws.Make electrical connections using pre-fabricated harnesses, cutters, wire strippers, and crimping tools.Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.Perform self-auditing and inspection of assembled work using drawings and checklists.Essential Skills2+ years of mechanical assembly experience.Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.Ability to utilize hand and power tools.Required electrical experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsHydraulic experience is a plus.Why Work Here?We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401k, PTO, and holiday. You may occasionally be required to go outside to the yard for materials, which is not air-conditioned.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orlando, FL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
