As a Full-Time Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) or Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC), you will be embedded within a school and become part of their community, providing prevention, early intervention, and therapeutic services year round that support student success both inside and outside the classroom. Many of the youth and families we serve have experienced trauma, chronic stress, anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, grief, family conflict, and other barriers that affect their well-being. You will provide individual, group, and school-wide behavioral health services using a public health approach that promotes student wellness and academic success. Provide individual, group, and school-wide behavioral health services year round in the school Facilitate workshops, classroom presentations, prevention activities, and wellness initiatives Support students experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and family stressors Build meaningful relationships with students, families, teachers, and school administrators Coordinate care with families, school personnel, and community partners Maintain timely clinical documentation, assessments, and treatment plans Participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning and consultation Required Qualifications Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related behavioral health field Active or Pending DC LGSW or LGPC license Preferred Qualifications 1–3 years of behavioral health experience Experience working with children, adolescents, and families Experience in school-based, outpatient, community-based, or behavioral health settings Experience supporting individuals impacted by trauma, anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, or family stressors #J-18808-Ljbffr Paving the Way Multi-Service Institute
