Engineer Divers - Mid Level

We are actively seeking experienced Structural Engineer Divers at our Baton Rouge or New Orleans, LA office. As the successful Engineer Diver, you will be working with a professional engineering dive team that provides consulting services to clients – primarily in the Louisiana area. Occasional travel to other areas throughout the U.S. and abroad will also be required. The principal function of this position is to be part of a team that evaluates marine structures and bridges through above and underwater engineering inspections, follow-on report preparation and development of structural repair designs. You will utilize modern workflows that include field tablets, UAS (drones), nondestructive testing and evaluation, marine mapping and imaging, analysis and modeling tools. Qualifications:Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural EngineeringProfessional Engineer licensure in Louisiana or the ability to obtain via reciprocity within 6 months of hireCertified Commercial Diver is required; ADCI, HSE, DCBC, IMCA, ADAS or completion of a US military equivalent diving school NHI/NBIS bridge inspection qualifications a plus4 to 10 years of related experience Proven experience in performing above/below water engineering inspectionsCapability to lead and work effectively as part of a team Possess a valid driver's license in good standing with the ability to obtain a Class D driver's licenseBoater Safety Card preferred Ability and willingness to travel as required.
