Housekeeping Houseperson

HousepersonKalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Houseperson. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of guest corridors, elevators, guest accommodations and all other assigned or expected areas.As part of our team, you'll embody our Promise to Lead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences.Pay Rate: $14-$16/hourKey ResponsibilitiesDeliver items to guest rooms, keep housekeeping closets clean and stocked and assist room attendants when needed by stripping beds, running linen and cleaning rooms.Maintain housekeeping closets keeping them clean and orderly and advise supervisor of low inventory of amenity items.Ensure lost and found procedures are carried out according to resort and department standards.Separate linens and properly move them to laundry for cleaning in an efficient manner.Maintain all work areas and ensure Housekeeping equipment is free of safety violations.What We're Looking ForHigh School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.Must have good customer relation skills, have great attention to detail, able to work independently without supervision and be a team playerBasic working knowledge of equipment such as Vacuums, Electric Housemen Carts, and Hydraulic Lift Trucks helpful.Must have a valid driver's licenseA Sampling of Our BenefitsCareer growth opportunities with promotion from within401(k) matching, paid time off, and holiday compensationHealth, dental, and vision coverage for full-time associatesEmployee appreciation events, discounts, and perks at all resortsEducation assistance programs to help advance your careerBe Part of Something ExtraordinaryAt Kalahari, we believe the best leaders Lead with Love—because love builds trust, inspires growth, and creates experiences that last a lifetime.
