Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for individuals and families facing mental health challenges.

• Utilize various therapeutic modalities—including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), family systems therapy, and narrative therapy—to address issues such as addiction, chronic pain, depression, and anxiety.

• Lead support groups for parents, with a focus on providing therapeutic environments that address adoption and placement issues for prenatally substance-exposed children.

• Provide training and mentoring to community professionals and parents regarding mental health concerns affecting families.
\n
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members, offering insights and support to enhance patient outcomes.

• Engage in crisis intervention strategies to effectively manage emergent situations with clients and families.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with diverse populations, specifically focusing on children aged 0-21 and their parents. You will provide crucial support to families coping with high-risk situations, including issues related to mental health, parenting challenges, and experiences of child abuse or neglect. Your role will be instrumental in fostering positive parent-child relationships and facilitating effective interventions that promote healthy development.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health discipline is required.

• Active and appropriate California LMFT license is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n
