Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Speech-language pathologist and assistant openings are available for the 2026–2027 school year with full-time, on-site assignments across several campuses throughout the Houston area. These contract roles are ideal for professionals passionate about supporting student communication and language development in a collaborative school setting.

Candidates will support diverse student populations, provide therapy, and work closely with multidisciplinary teams. Assignment runs from late July 2026 through the end of May 2027.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current and active Texas SLP or SLPA license (must submit screenshot with application)
• School-based SLP/SLPA experience is mandatory
• SLPAs must already have an active license; supervision for licensure is not provided
• Only accepting full-time (37.5 hours/week) candidates for on-site work
• Reliable transportation to attend school sites as assigned
• SLP-CF candidates will not be considered

Responsibilities:

• Deliver assessment, therapy, documentation, and consultative services to assigned students
• Prepare and participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school staff
• Maintain compliance with all state and district guidelines/policies
• Implement evidence-based practices to support student progress
• Travel as needed to multiple placement locations within assigned region
