Preference for a candidate in McLean, VA or Dallas, TX or remote in EST/CST*** Job Summary We are seeking a talented and creative contract copywriter to join our dynamic marketing team and play a pivotal role in driving member acquisition and loyalty for Hilton Worldwide. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and our Creative team to craft compelling copy that supports credit card acquisition efforts and deepens connections with existing card members. From omnichannel campaigns and banner ads to social content and large-scale branding initiatives, your words will shape how audiences experience and engage with the Hilton brand. Responsibilities Develop creative ideas and concepts, often in partnership with the Creative Director and Senior Designers. Write clear, persuasive, and original copy through the various iterations of each project. Present creative ideas and provide a clear business rationale to internal stakeholders for approval and development. Evolve, revise, or redevelop advertisements and campaigns in response to feedback from the Creative Director and internal stakeholders. Use campaign performance data to evaluate effectiveness and apply key learnings to future campaigns. Work closely with the Creative Director, Senior Designers, copywriters, and marketing team to develop integrated creative solutions. Build strong working relationships with stakeholders across multiple functions, incorporating feedback while protecting the strategic and creative intent of the work. Deliver creative concepts, messaging platforms, headlines, slogans, and body copy for omnichannel campaigns. Produce copy for banner ads, emails, social content, branding initiatives, internal communications, and large-scale campaigns. Write scripts and other long- or short-form copy as needed, refined through stakeholder feedback and campaign performance insights. Skills Excellent writing and copyediting skills, with the ability to produce clear copy in a variety of styles using accurate spelling and grammar. Strong analytical and research skills. Ability to manage multiple campaigns for different internal brand clients in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Strong presentation and communication skills, including the ability to inspire and sell creative rationale to senior management and cross-functional teams. Self-motivation, flexibility, stamina, confidence, enthusiasm, and the ability to adapt. Accuracy, attention to detail, and resilience, with the ability to receive and apply constructive feedback. Market awareness and the ability to understand target audiences. Strong collaboration skills and the ability to form effective working relationships quickly across multiple functions. Comfort working across short-form assignments, such as headlines, and longer-form projects, such as brand positioning. Experience 5+ or more years of professional work experience, including copywriting and copyediting experience. Experience working at a creative agency is preferred. Experience working in financial services is preferred. Experience in hospitality or with consumer brands is preferred. A strong interest in popular culture, emerging trends, and evolving styles is preferred.
