Shipping & Receiving ClerkCompanies in the Santa Clarita/Valencia area are looking for experienced Shipping & Receiving Clerks! Must have at least 1 year of recent experience.1st shift$18-$23 (DOE)Job Summary: A company in the Valencia area is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in data entry, inventory management, stocking, receiving, and light assembly. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently.Responsibilities:Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipmentsPrepare and process outgoing shipments accuratelyPerform data entry related to inventory and shipping recordsMaintain and organize inventory, including stocking and restocking materialsAssist with light assembly tasks as neededOperate a sit-down forklift to move materials and productsEnsure a clean and safe work environmentFollow company procedures and safety guidelinesRequirements:Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in shipping and receiving or a related roleExperience with data entry and inventory systemsAbility to operate a sit-down forklift (certification preferred)Basic understanding of warehouse operationsMust be able to speak and understand EnglishStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to lift and move materials as requiredQualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment following the law. Including the City of Los Angeles' Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance.
