Senior Accountant – Global Organization | Hybrid

Location: Elk Grove Village / Wood Dale, IL Area

Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 3 Days In Office / 2 Days Remote

Compensation: $90,000–$105,000 Base Salary

The Bolton Group is partnering with a well-established, financially stable international organization to identify a Senior Accountant for its growing finance and accounting team.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Prepare and review journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Assist with financial statement preparation and management reporting.
• Manage fixed asset accounting, depreciation, and related reconciliations.
• Support intercompany accounting and transactions involving international operations.
• Assist with accounts payable, accruals, and other general accounting activities.
• Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts, identifying trends and discrepancies.
• Support external audits and ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.
• Partner with the Controller on process improvements, reporting enhancements, and special projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, month-end close, and financial reporting.
• Experience with account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial analysis.
• Strong Excel skills and experience working with ERP/accounting systems.
• Manufacturing, distribution, or international business experience is a plus.
• CPA or CPA eligibility preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach.
