Extrusion Machine Operator (1st Shift) Jeannette, PA

Job Overview Triumvirate Environmental is seeking an onsite Machine Operator for our Pennsylvania recycling operation. This position reports to the Shift Supervisor and works from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Pay rate is $19.00/hr with an opportunity to earn an additional $2.00/hr within your first year through our structured tier advancement program. Responsibilities Learn to operate different types of plastic extrusion machines. Setup and monitor extrusion machines to meet quota and quality specifications. Apply solid understanding of quality control. Work efficiently and productively. Multi‑task and use basic and power hand tools. Stack material safely and efficiently. Understand OSH regulations and company health and safety practices. Respect and build working relationships with co‑workers. Perform regular/daily cleaning of work area and tools. Successfully complete on‑job training. Lift up to 50 lbs repetitively and operate a forklift. Perform other duties as assigned. Basic Requirements High School diploma or equivalent. Ability to operate large precision shop machinery. Strong problem‑solving and process improvement aptitude. Ability to articulate problems and solutions. Sense of urgency and personal initiative with follow‑through and professionalism. Self‑motivated and able to manage stressful situations. Strong commitment to safety. Collaborate effectively with team members. Open to learning, adapting to new processes, incorporating constructive feedback, and taking initiative. Ability to work overtime. Reliable transportation. Eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship. Preferred Requirements Safety oriented. Manufacturing experience. Detail oriented. Works well with a team. Willingness to learn. Experience in a manufacturing environment that requires hearing protection, safety glasses, and steel‑toed boots. Experience working in a large facility (~100,000 sq ft). Ability to handle seasonal temperature and weather variations. Communication via radio with operators and managers. Teamwork‑centered atmosphere with over 100 employees.
