Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $3,280 per week

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Issaquah, Washington. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/05/2026 Duration: 26 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse position located in a vibrant healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized care during labor, preterm labor, postpartum, and gynecological procedures. Candidates will participate in delivering high-quality obstetric services in a supportive environment that emphasizes camaraderie and professional development. Job Details: Schedule: Night shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Valid state license with a compact license in hand at submission, at least 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery (L&D) including labor and preterm labor, and experience with Epic electronic charting system. Certifications required include BLS, FHM, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate; ACLS preferred. Preferred Qualifications: Experience attending high-risk deliveries and GYN surgeries; proficiency with blood/blood products administration, epidural and PCA pumps, Wound Vac, and specialized medication administration. Float: Postpartum and possibly Labor & Delivery at a nearby facility. Patient Population: Adolescents, infants, and adults. Responsibilities: Attending all deliveries, high-risk deliveries, GYN surgeries, and care transition in nursery settings; supporting high-risk and low-risk obstetric patients; managing special procedures and equipment such as blood transfusions, cardioversion, and epidural pumps. Experience Required: At least 2 years in labor and delivery settings, with demonstrated proficiency in high-risk obstetric care and use of Epic charting system. Additional Information: Candidates must be flexible to work 12-hour night shifts and commit to working at least three of the five specified holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas/Eve, New Years/Eve). All scheduling and holiday requests must be submitted upfront during application. The role involves floating between designated units based on skill and operational needs.
