An established electrical supply company is seeking a Customer Relations & Sales Support Representative to join our team. This position plays a key role in supporting customers, vendors, and the supply manager by handling order entry, purchase order tracking, customer communication, and order status updates. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced office.

 

Primary duties of the Support Representative include:

 

• Enter customer orders and purchase orders accurately into company systems
• Provide excellent customer service by handling incoming phone calls and email inquiries
• Make outbound calls to vendors regarding purchase orders, product availability, lead times, and shipment status
• Trace and track orders to ensure timely delivery
• Communicate order updates, delays, and expected arrival dates to customers and management
• Keep the Supply Manager informed on order progress and vendor communications
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, purchase orders, and shipment updates
• Coordinate with sales, purchasing, and warehouse teams to resolve order issues
• Prepare and send professional emails, including attachments and order documentation
• Assist with general administrative and sales support duties as needed

 

Requirements of the Support Representative:

 

• Previous customer service, administrative, order entry, or office support experience
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, email communication, and sending attachments
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Professional phone etiquette
• Able to lift up to 50lbs.

Hours: 1st shift Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm

Pay rate:
