This position is on-site in Tempe with 50% travel across the U.S.

Job Description

• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing thoughtful guidance on people‑related matters that affect business performance and organizational effectiveness.
• Assess business priorities and translate them into focused HR strategies that support operational and commercial objectives.
• Apply strong expertise in local employment legislation to ensure compliance, mitigate risk, and guide leaders through complex employee sitatuions.
• Role requires FREQUENT DOMESTIC TRAVEL of up to about 50%.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Manager, HRBP should have:

• A seasoned HR leader who confidently partners with senior executives and influences decision‑making through strong business judgment.
• PRIOR PEOPLE MANAGEMENT IS A MUST.
• Highly effective operating in complex, structured, and metrics‑driven environments with diverse employee populations.
• Prior union experience is preferred.
• Trusted advisor recognized for sound counsel, credibility, and consistent application of HR principles and practices.
• Expertise in employee relations, talent management, and organizational development.
• Deeply knowledgeable in U.S. employment law, compliance, and risk management, with the ability to navigate sensitive situations.
