Financial Specialist

Financial Specialist –responsible for overseeing financial operations, accounting, reporting, and budget support across a range of organizations, including district administration, federal programs, universities, e‑commerce, healthcare, and credit unions. Key Responsibilities Oversee the district financial management program. Manage financial accounting, reporting, and closing processes. Conduct tax audits and ensure compliance. Build and maintain financial systems and processes. Provide financial management, accounting, and budget support for a federal program. Serve clients as a single touch point, minimizing hand‑offs. Analyze problems and present recommendations on resource utilization. Ensure hospital reimbursements are billed, collected, transferred, and deposited. Support the Office of the Public Guardian with accounting and bookkeeping functions. Maintain accounting and financial records and reports for a credit union. Qualifications Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with a minimum CI polygraph requirement. Ability to work independently and take initiative. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and SharePoint. Associate degree or equivalent work experience in accounting or finance. Experience in financial operations within government, healthcare, or e‑commerce settings is advantageous. #J-18808-Ljbffr
