Bookkeeper : Freeport , Illinois

Our customer in Freeport, Illinois is seeking a detail-oriented individual to join their team. We’re recruiting a Bookkeeper to work 1st shift. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing financial records, supporting accounting processes, and assisting with basic HR-related tasks.

Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper :

• Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes
• Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks
• Perform daily bookkeeping and reconciliation tasks
• Assist with invoicing, payments, and tracking financial transactions
• Support payroll-related processes as needed
• Complete light HR duties, including administrative support functions
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with company financial procedures

Bookkeeper Requirements and Qualifications:

• Previous bookkeeping experience required
• QuickBooks experience required
• Knowledge of ADP preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in general computer applications

Pay for Bookkeeper : Starting at $20-35/hour, depending on experience.
