Insurance Coverage Attorney (Litigation)Established law firm is seeking an Insurance Coverage Attorney with at least 5 years of experience to join its litigation practice. Candidates may be considered across multiple office locations, including St. Louis, Kansas City, Denver, and Dallas.This role is ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented attorney with experience in complex insurance coverage disputes within the commercial insurance sector.ResponsibilitiesHandle insurance coverage litigation matters from inception through resolutionAnalyze and interpret commercial insurance policies across various lines of coverageDraft coverage opinions, reservation of rights letters, and other coverage-related evaluationsConduct factual investigations and manage discovery in complex litigation mattersTake and defend depositions and participate in mediation and settlement discussionsDraft pleadings, motions, and other litigation documentsCommunicate regularly and effectively with clients regarding coverage positions and strategyQualificationsMinimum of 5 years of experience in insurance coverage litigation preferredExperience with commercial insurance coverage matters, including:Commercial General Liability (CGL)Pollution LiabilityMarineDirectors & Officers (D&O)Professional LiabilityErrors & Omissions (E&O)Strong experience reviewing and interpreting insurance policiesExperience with all phases of complex commercial litigationExcellent written, analytical, and client communication skillsStrong academic background and attention to detailLicensed and in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdictionAttributesThe ideal candidate will be proactive, dynamic, and entrepreneurial, with a demonstrated ability to manage complex matters independently and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
