Bookkeeper Position

SICORP is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our Albuquerque, NM team. This position is open to students, entry-level or mid-level candidates, and transitioning military personnel. The selected candidate will support the business by performing accounting/budgeting tasks and participating in agile-based project management activities.

Maintain financial records, reconcile bank statements, and assist with the processing of accounts payable, receivable, payroll, employee expenses, and tax payments. Support the team with ad-hoc accounting tasks and special projects.

One year of prior bookkeeping experience with Quickbooks, Deltek, or DCAA; one year of accounting coursework; or equivalent.

High school diploma or GED required; BA/BS/AA degree is a plus.

Experience with agile project management, ITIL, ITSM standards, and group documentation is a plus.

All employees are required to successfully complete periodic drug screenings.

In-office position with the potential for remote work.

Position is considered essential, requiring remote work during inclement weather or winter closures.

Position open to part-time students and part-time or full-time business professionals.

All candidates must adhere to established Safety and Security Plans and protocols.

This position does not require an active U.S. Government Security Clearance; a prior or active clearance is a plus.

Military or Department of Energy experience is a plus.
