Constellation Search Group is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor (2nd Shift) for a full-time, direct-hire opportunity in Hope, Indiana. This position will oversee daily manufacturing operations, lead a team of production employees, and drive productivity, efficiency, and quality within a growing manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and support a team of approximately 15–20 production employees during second-shift operations.
• Oversee daily manufacturing activities, ensuring production schedules, quality standards, and productivity goals are consistently met.
• Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, and performance management to develop a productive and accountable team.
• Monitor production workflows, identify operational inefficiencies, and implement solutions to improve output and overall performance.
• Coordinate staffing assignments, workloads, and production priorities to maximize efficiency and meet customer demands.
• Partner closely with the Operations Plant Manager to communicate production updates, address challenges, and support operational objectives.
• Collaborate with first-shift leadership to ensure effective shift transitions, communication, and continuity of production activities.
• Promote a safe, organized, and positive work environment while ensuring adherence to company policies and manufacturing standards.
• Utilize ERP systems, Excel, and other production tools to track performance, maintain accurate records, and support operational reporting.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and assist with the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and processes.
• Support workforce development, employee training, and operational improvements as the organization expands its manufacturing capabilities.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Hands-on experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, or a related industrial setting.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage production teams while maintaining accountability for performance and results.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows, production scheduling, and operational efficiency.
• Experience working with ERP systems and/or Microsoft Excel for production tracking, reporting, or inventory management.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and respond to production challenges in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working onsite during second-shift hours with occasional Saturday overtime as production needs require.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement initiatives, or process optimization.
• Familiarity with QAD ERP or similar manufacturing enterprise resource planning systems.
• Experience overseeing assembly operations or other labor-intensive manufacturing processes.
• Previous experience supporting production growth, facility expansion, or operational improvements.
