Unit Highlights

4E is a surgical unit with a subspecialty in oncology. Its nurses primarily care for pre-and postoperative patients with cancer diagnoses. Nurses on 4E deliver safe, efficient, competent, quality, and compassionate patient care. 4E nurses value patients' trust, are dedicated to excellence in nursing, champion teamwork, optimize patient experience, and celebrate and recognize each other. Our nurses commit to professional advancement and development. Some career growth opportunities in 4E include clinical coach, resource nurse, and mentor program. You may obtain national medical-surgical or oncology certification to demonstrate further knowledge, expertise, and skills. Also, if you are interested in administering IP and IV chemotherapy to surgical cancer patients, you can become chemo certified. Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needsfrom routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team.

Qualifications

ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required. Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred. Active DC RN License and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross).

This position has a hiring range of: USD $41.38 - USD $66.92 /Hr.
