LPN Contract Opportunity in Steamboat Springs, Colorado
On site housing available. Start date: ASAP. Contract duration: 13-15 weeks. Work holidays. Bill rate: LPN FPH rate: $62/hr regular, $62/hr overtime, $72/hr holiday. LPN rate: $70/hr regular, $70/hr overtime, $80/hr holiday. Location: Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Type: Senior living community (assisted living, skilled nursing). Known for a resident-centered care model, often aligned with Eden Alternative principles. Choice when to get up, when to go to bed, how they’d like to take their medication, etc. Despite being a skilled community and having health care standards, the choice of the patient often trumps healthcare procedure here (within reason of course). Overtime: Possible, but not guaranteed. Mountain location? Travelers must be comfortable driving in mountainous and winter conditions. Charting system: Point Click Care (PCC). Scrubs: No color requirements. Work week: Sunday–Saturday. Facility-provided housing details: Location: Housing is located within the facility. Accommodations: Travelers will stay in a 2-bedroom suite. Might have roommate. Private, locked bedroom. Shared family-style living room and bathroom with another traveler. Laundry: Available on-site (traveler must provide their own detergent). Cooking: Travelers are responsible for bringing their own cooking appliances. Bedding: Provided. No pets/no guests allowed. Travelers must arrive before 4:00 PM. Late arrivals will not be granted access and will need to secure last-minute housing. Early arrival: A minimum of 7 days’ notice is required for early arrival requests. A $250 fee will be assessed for rooms left in poor condition.
