Customer Service Representative (Roadside Assistance)

Renton, WA (On-Site)

$27.50/hour

6-Month Contract

Expected Start Date: September 2026

About the Opportunity

We are seeking customer-focused professionals to join a high-volume roadside assistance team supporting commercial truck drivers across North America. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for drivers experiencing breakdowns, helping coordinate service, troubleshoot issues, and ensure customers receive timely support during critical situations.

Schedule

Available shifts include:

• Sunday - Thursday or Tuesday - Saturday
• 5:00 AM - 2:00 PM OR 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Training

• 6-8 weeks of paid training
• Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Candidates must be available to attend training during normal business hours before transitioning to their assigned shift

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound roadside assistance calls from commercial truck drivers
• Manage cases from initial breakdown call through completion and billing
• Make outbound follow-up calls to service providers and customers
• Determine service needs and dispatch appropriate resources
• Use mapping tools to identify vehicle locations and nearby repair facilities
• Monitor active cases and provide timely status updates
• Document all activity and customer interactions within company systems
• Verify payment methods and support service scheduling requests
• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure quick and effective resolutions

• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
• Strong computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously
• Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Genuine passion for helping customers

Preferred Qualifications

• Call center experience
• Dispatching experience
• Salesforce experience
• Automotive, transportation, or logistics experience
• Bilingual in Spanish or French

Work Environment

• Large on-site customer support center with 50+ team members
• Approximately 35 calls per day
• Headset and desk-based call center environment
• Unscripted calls requiring critical thinking and problem-solving

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.50 - $27.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
