CDS Full Time Event Manager - Product Demonstration Job Locations: US-NY-Brooklyn Primary Posting Address: 976 Third Ave, Brooklyn, NY, US This role involves recruitment, hiring, and supervision of in‑store Product Demonstrators, overseeing product preparation and presentation, training staff, and providing service to members. Coordination with warehouse managers, vendors, and demonstrators and participation in new‑location grand openings are required. Oversee product preparation and presentation, including food safety and sanitation. Train Product Demonstrators in demonstration preparation and customer service. Communicate between multiple managers, vendors, and demonstrators. Participate in new‑location grand openings as required. Direct all activities engaged in successful events, promotion, and sales of vendor products. Communicate strategies and tactics to achieve sales, service, and operational excellence. Support the maintenance and ongoing development of corporate governance framework, policies, and procedures. Collaborate with the District Manager to evaluate event performance metrics and make adjustments as necessary. Achieve defined revenue and net income objectives through sales activation, strategy, and expense management. Optimize customer satisfaction and loyalty through improved operations. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Associate's Degree or equivalent experience (Preferred: Bachelor's Degree). Two to four years of related experience in retail, hospitality, or food environments. Detail‑oriented with excellent leadership and communication skills. Proven ability to lead high‑performing teams. Ability to exercise independent judgment. Ability to coach and counsel employees. Flexibility and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. NEHA Professional Food Handler Certification required. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. Supervising skills including delegating responsibility, training, and evaluating performance.
