United Protective Services, one of the fastest-growing security firms in Texas, is seeking a Branch Manager to manage, coordinate, develop business, and foster relationships for our Austin office.

Our firm provides professional contract security personnel to several industries, including commercial, residential, retail, industrial, financial, healthcare, and educational facilities. This Manager will plan, direct, and coordinate operations. Duties and responsibilities include formulating policies, managing daily operations, client services, and planning the overall service value for the Austin area. This person will report directly to our General Manager and Vice President

• Manage day-to-day operations of the Austin area to ensure delivery of service value in a cost-effective and productive manner.
• Manage subordinate managers through direct interface and daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings.
• Work with all levels of operation to identify, analyze, clarify, and create solutions while creating positive opportunities for business management.
• Deliver EXCEPTIONAL customer service through regular face-to-face meetings to foster a partnership approach.
• Oversee and manage client contract compliance.
• Manage Personnel Relations to include the recruitment, hiring, counseling, supervision, and the exit/termination process
• Direct departments of business, such as Operations, Customer Services, Inventory, HR, Scheduling, Office Administration, and Purchasing.
• Review and recommend departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures, conferring with ownership, management officials, and staff members as necessary.
• Monitor businesses and operations to ensure that they efficiently and effectively provide needed services while staying within budgetary limits.
• Assist in directing and coordinating the organization's financial and budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, and increase efficiency.
• Enforce Company Policies and Procedures throughout the organization.
• Keep accurate records and maintain reports that demonstrate performance of both the position held and subordinates.
• Participate in Association Memberships in business-related organizations to help promote the company and its position in the industry.
• Assist in the sales and marketing of the company through developing sales contacts and issuing proposals.
• Assist in developing and implementing service marketing strategies, including advertising campaigns and sales promotions.
• Maintain confidentiality of all Company Proprietary data and information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Previous management experience in the contract security industry or an equivalent industry is a Plus
• Ability to Lead
• College Degree Preferred
• Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
• Computer literate, including WINTEAM, eHub, Microsoft Office, Excel, etc.
• Sense of Urgency with all matters involving client and employee relations
• This position should have the ability and wherewithal to work a flexible schedule
