Payer Pre-Sales and Solutioning Leadership Location: Onshore, U.S. Hybrid acceptable. Travel up to 30 percent for client workshops and pursuits. Symphony is the AI orchestration control plane that governs execution across agents, systems, and human actions. The Digital Transactional Core connects to existing enterprise systems including claims, eligibility, EHR, and member systems of record. Why This Role Zyter|TruCare is investing in a sharper, more technical pre-sales and solutioning capability inside the Strategy and Transformation team. This Director role exists to lead client-facing pursuit conversations across payer operations. The role is a closer-in partner to Sales, Product, and Engineering during the solutioning phase of a deal, with primary accountability for shaping how Zyter products are positioned, demonstrated at the workflow level, and translated into a credible solution architecture. The person will spend most of their time in front of payer prospects and clients, running solutioning workshops, decoding RFI and RFP requirements into TruCare configurations and Symphony agent designs, and partnering internally to drive pre-sales velocity. They must be fluent enough in payor workflows, integration patterns, and AI orchestration concepts to hold their own with payer operations leaders, IT architects, and clinical executives in the same room. Core Responsibilities Lead Payer Client Conversations Serve as the lead solutioning voice in payer pursuits across UM, CM, prior authorization, appeals and grievances, population health, and value-based care workflows. Run discovery calls with payer operations leaders, medical directors, CIOs, and procurement teams. Translate stated and unstated needs into a structured solution hypothesis. Own the solutioning narrative through the pursuit lifecycle, from first discovery through orals, sandbox, and contract. Partner directly with account executives to advance deals, unblock client questions, and shape commercial framing tied to the solution. Design and facilitate multi-day client solutioning workshops covering current-state workflow mapping, target-state design, AI-enabled workflow opportunities, and configuration roadmap. Translate workshop output into a defensible solution document covering scope, configuration, integration, AI agent design, governance, and implementation sequence. Manage the room across mixed audiences including clinical operations, IT, compliance, and executive sponsors. Drive Technical and Workflow Depth Develop working fluency in Symphony orchestration concepts, Praxis workflow patterns, and how AI agents are designed, governed, and deployed in regulated payer environments. Understand the integration surface area including FHIR, HL7, claims feeds, eligibility, EHR connectivity, and common payer data exchange patterns. Hold credible technical conversations with payer architects and Zyter Engineering without needing to upscale every question. Partner Internally to Move Pre-Sales Forward Act as the connective tissue between Sales, Product, AI Engineering, Clinical Services, Implementation, and Hosting during active pursuits. Drive RFI and RFP responses for payer opportunities, owning the solutioning and technical narrative sections. Translate field signal into Product roadmap inputs, including configuration gaps, integration patterns, and AI workflow opportunities that recur across deals. Build reusable pursuit assets, including workshop templates, solution architecture patterns, demo storylines, objection-handling guides, and reference configurations by line of business. Support Commercial and Strategic Framing Partner with Sales and Finance to shape pricing logic, ROI cases, and value frames anchored in the proposed solution. Prepare executive-ready pursuit materials including client narratives, solution decks, and Sundar-ready briefings. Mentor junior strategy and pre-sales team members on solutioning craft, workshop facilitation, and payer workflow depth. Qualifications Required 8 to 14 years of total experience, with the majority in payer-focused roles. Combinations of strategy consulting, payer operations, healthcare technology pre-sales, and solution architecture are all relevant.
