Academic Hospitalist

Responsibilities The Division of Hospital Medicine at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks full‑time non‑tenure‑eligible Academic Hospitalists on the Clinician‑Educator track at the rank of Instructor or Assistant Professor. Responsibilities include rotating on the teaching and attending directed non‑teaching service, with support from experienced NPs and PAs. Opportunities exist for both day and night service. Hospitalists also engage with medical students and residents, quality improvement projects, clinical research, interdisciplinary collaboration, and other scholarly activities. Qualifications Qualified candidates will specialize in internal medicine and be board‑certified/eligible physicians. Start Date Start date negotiable. Position remains open until filled. Compensation The expected base pay range is $255,000 – $280,000. Pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and market comparators.
