About the Role

The Company is seeking a Managing Director, Head of Product Tax to lead the strategic direction and execution of tax compliance for a diverse range of investment products. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping the tax strategy, ensuring adherence to institutional tax standards, and providing expert guidance on tax implications for various investment types. This role involves overseeing audits, compliance processes, and developing and implementing tax strategies to optimize investment outcomes. The Head of Product Tax will also mentor and lead a high-performing tax team, evaluate restructuring proposals, and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a CPA certification and an advanced degree in taxation preferred. A minimum of 15 years' experience in tax compliance and consulting, with a focus on private funds, fund-of-funds, and alternative investment structures, is required. The role demands a professional with strong analytical, organizational, and project management capabilities, as well as exceptional communication and leadership skills. Proficiency in tax software and the Microsoft Office Suite is essential, and the ability to manage complex tax scenarios and deliver exceptional service to major investors is a key aspect of the position.
