As an Access Control Officer in a residential community, you will help manage entry points, verify access, monitor activity, and maintain a visible presence that helps deter incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication to residents, visitors, and staff while supporting a welcoming environment. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.09 - $17.09 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed10:00 PM - 06:00 AMThur10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential location. Monitor access points, verify visitor authorization, manage guest entry procedures, and maintain required access-control records. Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Communicate professionally with residents, visitors, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related observations and incidents. Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
