Registered Nurse – Procedural Care

Schedule: 12H Rotating (Day/Evening)

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 16 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience
• Recent experience in a trauma 1, large (500+ beds), teaching facility
• Adult and pediatric experience is required
• IV experience preferred
• PALS, ACLS, BLS certifications required
• EPIC experience within the past 2 years is required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Prepare and recover patients in procedural areas such as Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology.
• Provide nursing care during pre-operative and post-anesthesia stages, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in patient conditions.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and post-operative care instructions.

Compliance / Notes:

• Must have reliable transportation; personal vehicle or rental is strongly recommended.
• All vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during specified months.
• Some on-call duty required.
• This facility requires a complete work history for submission.
