Senior HR Generalist

The Senior HR Generalist runs day-to-day HR operations for Royal Hawaiian Movers, including talent acquisition, onboarding, benefits, employee relations, compliance, leave administration, and policy enforcement. The ideal candidate is an expert in Hawaii employment laws, DOT/FMCSA regulations, and DBIDS, and can work autonomously in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

• Strategic HR Operations

Core HR skills include practical knowledge of Hawaii employment laws, strong communication, conflict resolution, and organizational skills, ability to handle confidential information with discretion, proficiency in Microsoft Office, UKG HRIS, and an ATS (e.g., Indeed), and effectively use AI tools to increase productivity, while verifying outputs for accuracy, confidentiality, compliance, and good judgment.

Education and experience:

• Required: Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field, minimum 5 years HR experience
• Preferred: SHRM or HRCI certification, hands-on proficiency with UKG HRIS & experience in transportation, logistics, or trucking a plus

Physical and other requirements:

• Prolonged sitting and computer work; ability to lift 15 pounds
• Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities
• Must pass drug test and criminal background check
• Must be able to meet MVR requirements per company policy

Compensation: Salary: $70,000 – $75,000 annually | Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO
