Join our dynamic manufacturing team in Sumter, SC as an Assembler 1, General. In this essential role, you will directly contribute to the fabrication, assembly, testing, and packaging of high-quality medical devices. This is a contractor position with a competitive pay rate of $17.00 per hour plus a $1.50 shift differential for night shifts. Work a stable, predictable 12-hour schedule (8:00 p.m. - 8:00 a.m.), rotating days on and off, including weekends.

[Responsibilities]

- Perform assembly and fabrication tasks using established procedures and specialized tools
- Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure adherence to strict medical device standards
- Accurately interpret and follow detailed specifications and standard operating procedures
- Rotate between different tasks and workstations, adapting to changing responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, prioritizing safety and compliance
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
- Lift or move items up to 50 pounds as needed

[Required Skills and Experience]

- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0-1 year of manufacturing assembly experience
- Strong attention to detail and effective verbal communication skills
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend English instructions and perform basic math
- Comfortable using measurement tools, such as microscopes
- Willingness to work flexible or extended hours as scheduled
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods

- Prior experience in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment
- Previous work with medical device assembly or quality control
- Proven reliability in shift work, especially overnight or weekend shifts
