Every week.Techo-Bloc makes premium pavers, walls, and outdoor living products used across North America. Our Waterloo plant runs on advanced automated equipment, and we need mechanically minded operators to keep it running and turn out products people will enjoy for decades.Job DescriptionThe schedule and pay:$29.68/hr: $24.68 base plus a $5/hr night shift premiumMonday–Thursday, 6:00pm–6:00am, so every weekend is a 3-day weekendPaid weeklyPosition:We're looking for hands-on, mechanically minded operators who enjoy working with equipment, solving problems, and being part of a team that takes pride in what they produce.Run automated production equipment and hit daily production goalsSet up equipment and handle preventative maintenanceTroubleshoot, adjust, and make minor repairs using hand tools and measuring devices, and bring in Maintenance when needed to keep the line movingTake apart and reassemble heavy components using hoists and hand toolsCheck product quality, including color blends, and flag anything that's offKeep accurate daily production and maintenance reportsHand off clearly at shift change so the next crew knows exactly where things standWork safely and follow plant proceduresQualificationsWhat you need:3+ years in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentComfort leading or guiding coworkers on the floorBasic computer skillsAbility to work independently and take initiativeAvailability for occasional overtime or weekend coverage when production requires itHigh school diploma or GEDBonus points (not required):Mechanical or electrical troubleshooting experienceExperience in concrete or concrete products manufacturingFamiliarity with equipment like Masa, Hess, Omag, Columbia, Rekers, or BesserExperience with ERP systems or Microsoft OfficeWhy Work for Us?We offer stable, long-term careers with strong benefits, growth opportunities, and a team-first culture.
