Authorization Support Representative

To support a dedicated team, the full-time remote Authorization Support Representative will manage inquiries regarding patient accounts, utilizing investigative skills to resolve authorization and eligibility issues while effectively communicating with patients and providers. Key responsibilities Own and resolve incoming inquiries related to authorization and eligibility for patient accounts Investigate and obtain necessary information through various platforms and communication methods Accurately update patient accounts and log scheduling errors impacting workflow Required qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or related field preferred Previous experience in authorizations or radiology preferred Experience in a phone and/or customer support role preferred Strong investigative and analytical skills Proficiency in navigating computer applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
