We are seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused professional to support our eye care team in delivering exceptional service and efficient clinical operations. This position plays an important role in assisting with patient flow, preliminary testing, and day-to-day support in a fast-paced optical and clinical environment.

• Welcome patients and prepare them for examinations in a friendly, professional manner
• Obtain and document patient history, reason for visit, and relevant visual concerns
• Perform preliminary vision testing and diagnostic measurements as directed
• Assist with basic clinical procedures and support the provider during patient visits
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the patient record
• Clean, organize, and restock exam rooms and clinical equipment
• Provide support with appointment scheduling, patient communication, and follow-up tasks as needed
• Help ensure a smooth patient experience by coordinating with the front office and clinical team
• Adhere to all safety, privacy, and infection control standards

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience in an eye care, medical, or customer service setting is preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
• Attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation
• Comfortable using computers and electronic systems for records and scheduling
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a positive patient experience

• Familiarity with common ophthalmic or optometric testing procedures
• Understanding of medical terminology related to eye care
• Experience with electronic health records or practice management systems
• Ability to adapt quickly and maintain professionalism in a busy setting
