Role As a Senior Director Process Manager in PULSE Operations, you will create strategy and lead a team through high priority projects for the company. You will collaborate with smart and passionate leaders to influence results that have a direct impact on the company’s bottom line. You lead important and exciting projects from day one, working alongside key stakeholders across the company. You will lead the Money Movement team which consists of Settlement, Billing, Incentives, Disputes & ownership of the Supplier Strategy that supports PULSE Operations. Responsibilities of this role may include Lead moderate sized teams to drive complex projects and programs by providing strategic direction. Design, develop, and manage project plans in a complex dynamic environment, revising needs to meet changing requirements. Ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget within a challenging environment while managing risk. Partner cross-functionally with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments. Utilize outstanding influencing skills to drive project and program efforts. Demonstrate a proven track record of excellent project management and ability to quickly establish structure. Exhibit a passion for coaching and developing associates through leadership. Maintain excellent communication and partnership skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels. Serve as a Project Leader who is detailed-oriented and able to manage several initiatives simultaneously. Act as a Problem-solver by understanding project goals, proposing effective plans, and leveraging data/metrics to deliver results. Function as a Juggler capable of prioritizing and toggling between multiple projects with urgency and adaptability. Be a Valued Partner with a proven record of collaboration and an understanding of Capital One's risk management organizations. Operate as a Team Player willing to roll up sleeves and contribute beyond the scope of the role. Basic Qualifications Bachelors Degree or military experience At least 2 years of experience in Process Management At least 2 years of experience in People Management At least 2 years of experience in Project management At least 2 years of experience in Strategic planning Preferred Qualifications Masters Degree in Industrial engineering, Process engineering, Process management, Systems engineering, Management, Business or Business Administration (MBA) Process or Project Management certification (i.e. Lean, Six Sigma, PMP), Business Management certification 5 years of experience in Process Management 5 years of experience in People Management At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. Chicago, IL: $208,800 - $238,300 for Sr. Director, Process Mgt Houston, TX: $208,800 - $238,300 for Sr. Director, Process Mgt McLean, VA: $229,700 - $262,100 for Sr. Director, Process Mgt Richmond, VA: $208,800 - $238,300 for Sr. Director, Process Mgt Riverwoods, IL: $208,800 - $238,300 for Sr. Director, Process Mgt Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
