Assistant Area Manager

A growing Japanese restaurant company is seeking an experienced Assistant Area Manager to support multiple restaurant locations. This role will oversee restaurant operations, P&L and cost management, and the development of Store Managers. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of restaurant Area Management experience and professional experience working in a Japanese restaurant. Key Responsibilities Support operations and performance across multiple restaurant locations Lead, coach, and develop Store Managers Monitor P&L, labor costs, food costs, inventory, and operating expenses Analyze operational performance and identify opportunities for improvement Support recruiting, training, performance management, and succession planning Develop initiatives to increase sales and transactions Support local restaurant marketing strategies Conduct operational and compliance audits Ensure company standards and policies are consistently implemented Required Qualifications Professional experience working in a Japanese restaurant 3+ years of Area Management experience in the restaurant industry Strong multi-unit restaurant operations experience Experience managing and developing Store Managers Knowledge of restaurant P&L, labor management, inventory, and food cost control Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to travel frequently between restaurant locations #J-18808-Ljbffr Triup, Inc.
