Whether you are in Nashville or at one of our outlying locations, you are treated like family!Responsibilities:Assist with managing the daily operations of the parts department in collaboration with the Parts Manager.Order, receive, inspect, and properly stock truck and trailer parts, equipment, and maintenance supplies.Distribute parts to technicians and accurately bill parts to the appropriate repair orders.Monitor inventory levels and proactively reorder parts to maintain adequate stock and prevent shortages.Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure parts are properly organized and readily accessible.Create, review, and monitor work orders in a timely and accurate manner.Communicate effectively with technicians, vendors, and management regarding parts availability and inventory needs.Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Qualifications:Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.Proactive approach with the ability to anticipate needs and resolve issues efficiently.Previous experience with truck, trailer, automotive, or heavy-duty parts is preferred.Experience with inventory management and/or parts management is a plus.Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and productivity.Schedule & Compensation:Monday–FridayWeekly compensation based on experienceIf you are organized, dependable, and enjoy working in a fast-paced maintenance environment, we encourage you to apply and become an important part of our team.Due to the collaborative nature of the work environment, the spontaneous need for idea generation and execution, and the potential for expedited remediations, responses, or information gathering, in-person, in-office attendance is an essential function of this position.Western Express, Inc. is committed to a policy of Equal Employment Opportunity and will not discriminate against an applicant or employee based on race, color, religion, national origin or ancestry, sex, pregnancy, age, physical or mental disability, veteran or military status, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, or any other legally recognized protected basis under federal, state, or local law.
