In this engaging, county-wide school-based position, you'll work part-time (20 hours per week) with students, helping them achieve better mobility, access to learning, and overall wellness. The role is primarily in-person, with potential flexibility for virtual service (Voco) depending on needs.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
• School-based PT or PTA experience preferred, but not required
• PTA candidates must be willing to work under the supervision of a PT (supervision can be provided)
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
• Empathy, patience, and flexibility to engage with students across a range of abilities and needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality PT interventions tailored to students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Conduct assessments and re-evaluations as needed to support educational goals
• Document services and progress, maintaining compliance with school and state regulations
• Provide staff and family training to ensure students’ success
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maximize positive student outcomes
