Key Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in West Virginia
• Prior experience in a school-based PT or PTA setting preferred
• Understanding of pediatrics and individual education plans (IEPs)
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with staff, students, and families
• Ability to adapt interventions to a variety of student needs and school environments
• Flexibility with scheduling and willingness to travel within Hampshire County

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services as directed by supervising Physical Therapist
• Support students’ motor development, mobility, and participation in school activities
• Assist with assessments and documentation for progress and IEP goals
• Collaborate with special education teams to integrate therapy within classroom settings
• Maintain accurate records and uphold confidentiality standards
• Travel between schools as needed to support students county-wide
