Pharmaceutical Field Sales Representative

Overview Inizio Engage is building a nationwide field‑based Pharmaceutical Sales Representative team dedicated to serving Pfizer. The main objective is to increase awareness of high‑/at‑risk patients for COVID‑19 and provide educational support to healthcare professionals, urgent cares, and retail pharmacies. This role reports to the Area Business Manager. Responsibilities Provide P1 support to physicians about COVID‑19 risk factors, disease progression, and treatment options. Educate identified targets to ensure customer preparedness on patient identification. Build working relationships with customers through regular calls and ongoing contact as defined in the Field Pharmaceutical Sales Contracted Team Statement of Work. Collaborate with customer‑facing colleagues to align goals and coordinate efforts across channel and field deployments. Understand the customer and market landscape within assigned geographies, prioritize opportunities, and develop or implement an action plan to maximize local sales impact. Participate in a team environment that encourages collaboration and idea sharing. Engage HCPs by probing, answering questions, and managing drug‑to‑drug interactions, supply location, and eligibility for treatment. Maintain expert knowledge of the product, patient and consumer education, and factors influencing the market environment. Use approved promotional materials exclusively to support marketing messages. Implement strategic call plans to exceed goals for assigned geographies and adapt approaches based on customer analysis. Collaborate with colleagues to prioritize local opportunities and develop targeted account strategies. Guide retail pharmacy customer interface to support local sales efforts. Employ interaction techniques, including pre‑call planning, opening, presentation focus, and productive questions. Customize delivery of sales messages to align with known customer needs. Share information on approved support resources. Complete call reporting and inventory recording responsibilities as outlined in the SOW. Balance study and certification time, maintain medical, product, and policy knowledge, and keep supplies, equipment, and records up to date. Prepare for and participate in all required sales conferences and training classes at local or remote locations. Complete all required compliance training within client‑established timelines. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience: Pharmaceutical sales – or related medical device sales. Professional sales or promotional activity. Small business ownership or entrepreneurial experience. Marketing, customer service or account management. Relevant healthcare/scientific roles (e.g., RN, pharmacist, PT, OT). Educator roles (e.g., teacher, principal). Full‑time military experience. Must reside within 25 miles of the territorial border. Urgent care setting experience. Willingness to travel.
