Job Description

Travel Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

**75-mile radius**

Starting at $50/hr

WorkFit Medical Staffing is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) team. In this role, you will provide specialized nursing care to patients requiring a higher level of monitoring than general medical-surgical patients but not intensive care. Our PCU nurses play a critical role in ensuring patient safety and recovery through close observation, medication administration, and patient education.

This is a contract position offering competitive pay and the opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Requirements

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York.
Minimum 1-2 years of medical-surgical or progressive care nursing experience preferred.
Valid certifications in BLS, ACLS and NIHSS.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
