Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students in a dynamic educational setting near Lowell, MA. This onsite role focuses on fostering growth and enhancing student participation as an Occupational Therapist. As part of a school-based team, your expertise will help empower learners of various ages and abilities, contributing to their academic and personal development throughout the 2026-2027 school year.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active and valid OT license required
- Prior experience in school-based OT or similar pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and support staff
- Expertise in adapting and tailoring interventions for diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students’ occupational therapy needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Deliver direct intervention services and consult with educational teams onsite
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with school district policies
- Engage with parents, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student success
Contract Specifics:
- Start Date: September 1, 2026; End Date: June 14, 2027
- Onsite, per diem schedule (hours to be confirmed)
