Overview Mortgage Bankers Field Services is a property inspection company serving the real estate, mortgage and insurance industries. Inspectors are independent contractors who set their own schedules, use their own vehicles, visit properties, take photos and input results using an industry phone app. Inspectors service a defined set of zip codes or territories and are paid a fee for each inspection completed. No inspection license is required. Responsibilities Inspect properties for the company in specified zip codes or territories Communicate with the company if inspections cannot be completed by the due date Complete inspections to client specifications and expectations Stay current with inspection requirements If an inspection is incomplete, redo or return to complete it Schedule inspections so they are completed during daylight hours Maintain professional behavior and appearance during inspections Follow Town/County/State safety requirements Aim to locate properties accurately Ensure results are captured and input into the company’s system via the app Requirements Mobile phone (iPhone or Android) with camera functionality; ideally 4G EZ Inspections phone App (Free download) Reliable desktop or laptop and printer with high-speed internet access Valid driver’s license Reliable and fuel-efficient vehicle Ability to route inspections effectively Ability to locate properties Clear background check Benefits Contractors set their own schedule Contractors are not required to have any experience or special licensing Competitive pay rates The more inspections completed, the more the contractor is paid Twice-a-month fixed pay schedule via ACH Part-time gig work Occupancy inspector, insurance inspections, insurance adjuster experience is a plus Related experience a plus (e.g., police science, investigations, security) Delivery driver, rideshare, or similar experience welcome Process servers, document delivery, skip tracers #J-18808-Ljbffr Mortgage Bankers Field Services
