Healthcare Construction Project Manager

Your future role at a glance Location: Pensacola, FL Facility: Ascension ASH Hospital Pensacola Department: Construction Schedule: Days l Full-time l 40 hours per week How you'll make an impact in this role Plan, track, and evaluate capital construction projects from design to completion, directly managing budgets, bids, schedules, and financial reporting (including earned value and burn rates). Establish and implement standardized national policies and procedures for construction project management to ensure operational consistency. Define project roles, estimate resources, and collaborate with hospital staff, contractors, architects, and engineers to align timelines and expectations. Enforce strict healthcare facility safety measures across all renovation and construction projects, overseeing work quality and warranty responses. Monitor and communicate key metrics—including risks, milestones, slippage, and project percent complete—to ensure alignment with customer expectations. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Required Credential(s): Drivers License obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Preferred Credential(s): Licensed Construction Professional. Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC). Project Mgmt Professional. Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) accepted. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred. What additional requirements you'll need Healthcare and construction experience is strongly preferred.
